Gabriele Spina

Gabriele Spina is an Expert Data Scientist at the Dipartimento per la Trasformazione Digitale since July 2022, focusing on strategic decision support, innovative service design, and promoting the AI ecosystem in Italy. Previously, Gabriele held positions at Philips, contributing to remote patient monitoring and respiratory care projects, and at HumanTotalCare, where responsibilities included developing predictive models, fostering business innovation, and supervising students. With a robust academic background, Gabriele earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and has experience in research and development of vision systems for humanoid robots during internships and assistant researcher roles. Academic qualifications also include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
