Jean Louis

Jean Louis is a highly experienced professional in the field of statistics and economics, currently serving as Chef de la section Production et Diffusion des statistiques du SSM Commerce Extérieur at the Direction générale des douanes et droits indirects (DGDDI) since September 2022. Previously, Jean Louis held multiple roles at Insee from September 2008 to September 2022, including Chef de division comptes économiques régionaux des Antilles - Guyane, where Jean Louis focused on the unique economic characteristics of overseas territories. Jean Louis also worked as an expert in national accounting for capacity-building programs in developing countries and led efforts for producing and reconciling national economic accounts. Educational qualifications include a degree in public statistics from ENSAI and a Licence d'économétrie from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
