Margarita Abella Hernández

Margarita Abella Hernández is a skilled corporate consultant and marketing specialist with extensive experience in disability inclusion and digital marketing strategies. Currently serving as a LATAM Corporate Disability Inclusion Consultant at Disability:IN since 2023, Margarita previously held the role of Marketing Specialist for Google Cloud LATAM at The 8Agency from June 2023 to April 2024. From August 2018 to June 2023, Margarita worked at Google as a Policy Communications Strategist in Trust & Safety, where responsibilities included educating publishers and developing policy resources. As a Trust & Safety Education and Outreach Strategist, Margarita advocated for online user protection across Latin America, leading regional training sessions and building partnerships with governments. Additional experience includes roles at WEConnect International, Independiente, Rena Ware, Leo Burnett Colombia, and Geometry Global Colombia, with a strong focus on marketing strategies and brand visibility. Margarita holds a degree in Industrial Design from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and has completed diplomas in Corporate Event Coordination and Marketing.
