Melissa Varney

Melissa Varney is an experienced finance professional, currently serving as Finance Manager at the Disasters Emergency Committee since January 2021. Prior roles include Financial Accountant at NSPCC from October 2019 to January 2021 and Audit Senior at Goodman Jones from August 2016 to August 2019. Melissa began their career as a Mathematics Teacher at CoLA_Southwark from July 2015 to July 2016 and completed a work experience internship at RSM UK in 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Mathematics from the University of Oxford, a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, and A-levels in Mathematics from St Mary's Catholic High School in Chesterfield.
