Francois van Aarde

Francois Van Aarde serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Discovery Corporate and Employee Benefits and oversees the innovative employee benefit solutions at Discovery Limited since January 2017. With extensive experience at Alexander Forbes since 1997, Francois has held multiple leadership roles, including Managing Director of Operations and Administration and Head of Fund Administration, where responsibilities included the administration of pension and provident funds. Francois holds a B Compt Honns degree in Accounting and Taxation from the University of the Free State, obtained between 1983 and 1986.
