Nash Li

Nash (Nanxi) Li is an accomplished Actuarial Analyst with a specialization in risk and data analytics, currently employed at Discovery Limited since October 2024. Previously, Nash served as an Actuarial Analyst at Liberty Group South Africa from January 2023 to September 2024, engaging in valuations, model building, auditing, and risk management, with notable projects including Index Based Insurance for NASRIA and a presentation to the Prudential Authority. Nash has also contributed academically as a marker and tutor at the University of Cape Town and was recognized as an Allan Gray Fellow prior to this career, earning scholarships and engaging in entrepreneurial development. Additionally, practical experience includes a brief internship with Deloitte and entrepreneurial efforts with Custom Medical Supplies. Musical talent is demonstrated through participation in the South African National Youth Orchestra Foundation as a violinist and ongoing music studies through ABRSM.
