Joshua Mar Melgar

Joshua Mar Melgar is an experienced professional in occupational health and safety with a master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health from the University of the Philippines. Currently serving as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at DITO Telecommunity Corporation since June 2021, Joshua also holds a position as an Occupational Safety and Health Trainer at FRROHS since September 2016. Previous roles include Occupational Safety and Health Officer at UnionBank of the Philippines, Safety, Health and Environment Area Officer, and Occupational Health Specialist at Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation (MIESCOR), as well as various positions related to safety and training within MIESCOR and ABS-CBN Corporation. Joshua began their career as a Registered Nurse at Albert Zarate Hospital, bringing a comprehensive healthcare background into the field of occupational safety.
