Martin Black

Martin Black is an accomplished finance professional with a diverse career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a consultant at Dixon Midland Company since January 2014, Martin transitioned from a successful trading career to focus on investment consulting, notably contributing to the launch of a successful managed futures fund. Previously, as Managing Director of Business Development at Laven Partners from May 2020 to September 2023, Martin drove substantial revenue growth across multiple business lines within a prominent regulatory hosting platform. Martin also held the position of Head of Business Development at Met Facilities LLP, where strategic sales initiatives significantly increased revenue, and served as a commodities and derivatives trader at EFC Trading Company, generating over $1 million in annual profit.
