Dan Abbitt

Dan Abbitt currently serves as the Head of Engineering at Dizplai since July 2024, following the acquisition of PickGuru, where Dan held the same title from October 2021 to July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Developer at Leisure Pass Group from February 2019 to September 2021, and Senior and Java Developer at Paddy Power Betfair from October 2015 to February 2019, focusing on the core matching engine of Betfair's betting exchange. Earlier experiences encompass positions at Barclays Investment Bank as Equities Algo Developer, CATS C# Developer Manager, and Business Intelligence Developer at Barclays Capital. Dan also contributed as Technical Director for Newcastle University Theatre Society and Web Administrator during an internship at Motorsport Vision. Dan Abbitt earned a Computer Science degree from Newcastle University from 2010 to 2013, following education at Christ's Hospital from 2003 to 2010.
