Thu Nguyen

Thu Nguyen is a Building Performance Analyst at DLR Group, specializing in CFD modeling to support architecture and engineering teams on various projects, including thermal comfort studies. In addition, Thu serves as a Project Course Instructor for the Sustainable Design course at MIT's Office of Engineering Outreach Programs. Previously, Thu worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Dunham Associates, focusing on HVAC modeling and building load calculations, and as a Teaching Assistant at Colorado School of Mines, with experience in Fluid Mechanics and Mechanical Integration & Design. Thu holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, accompanied by diverse engineering and teaching experience in both academic and professional settings.
