Andy Sami

Andy Sami is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Country Manager for Iraq at DNO ASA since November 2019. Responsibilities include overseeing a production rate of 115kbpd from the Tawke PSC, managing external and internal relationships, and ensuring adherence to financial planning and HSSE standards. Prior to DNO ASA, Andy held significant roles at Suncor Energy, BG Group, and BP, where notable achievements included progressing major project phases, improving organizational efficiency, and driving revenue growth exceeding $1 billion annually. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from The University of Edinburgh and has demonstrated expertise in multi-disciplinary team leadership, business continuity, and stakeholder management throughout a successful career spanning over two decades.
