Ertian Zhao

Ertian Zhao is a highly experienced naval architect with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Principal Naval Architect at DNV since January 2013, Ertian Zhao has previously held the position of Senior Principal Naval Architect at Noble Denton from November 2003 to January 2013. Prior roles include Installation Engineer at Heerema Marine Contractors (1998-2000), Structural Designer at Keppel FELS Ltd (1995-1997), and Graduate Naval Architect at the Marine Design and Research Institute of China from July 1991 to December 1994. Ertian Zhao's educational background includes a BSc in Naval Architecture from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (1987-1991) and further studies at the University of Strathclyde (2000-2003).
