Marcel Hendriks

Marcel Hendriks has extensive experience in the defense and maritime sectors, currently serving as Adviseur Defensie at DNV GL - Maritime since January 2019. Previously, Marcel held similar advisory positions at GoodFuels and energie voor inzet, specializing in strategic consulting on energy transitions, particularly within the military and defense industries. From April 2013 to December 2018, Marcel was the Chair of the Operational Energy Platform at Netherlands Industries for Defence & Security. Marcel's foundational career includes over three decades at the Ministerie van Defensie, culminating in the role of Head of Marine Engineering within the Defense Material Organisation. Marcel's educational background includes training at the Netherlands Defence College and the Koninklijk Instituut voor de Marine, along with early education at Twents Carmel Lyceum.
