Nadine Grace Halvorsen

Nadine Grace Halvorsen is a seasoned Senior Surveyor with extensive experience in ship newbuilding, currently employed at DNV since January 2013, specializing in the oversight of major vessel projects such as 7000 TEU container ships and VLCC and gas carrier vessels at prominent shipyards including Hyundai Heavy Industries. In addition to technical expertise in machinery approval and propulsion systems, Nadine served as a Board Member for SAMEIET GRØNLANDSHAGEN from April 2018 to December 2021 and volunteered at the Sanaga-Yong Chimpanzee Rescue Center with In Defense of Animals - Africa in mid-2012. Previous roles include a summer internship at Aker Solutions and a teaching assistantship at NTNU. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from NTNU and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
