Onur Kaprol

Onur Kaprol has extensive experience in the wind energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Wind Energy Assessment at DNV since June 2014, after progressing through various roles including Team Leader for Energy Assessment and Team Leader & Asset Operations and Management Services Engineer. Prior to DNV, Onur worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2012 to May 2014, and held positions as an R&D Long Term Intern at A. Raymond Turkey and a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Redevco. Onur's early career includes a manufacturing engineering role at Enercon GmbH, focusing on the production of wind turbine blades, and involvement in technology research and development at Marmara University. Onur holds a Master’s Degree in Wind Energy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Marmara University.
