Paul Drummond

Paul Drummond is a seasoned marine and offshore surveyor with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Principal Surveyor at DNV Group since September 2013, Paul specializes in the survey and certification of various marine vessels and offshore systems, including diving systems and dynamically positioned vessels. Prior to DNV, Paul held significant roles at Lloyd's Register from 1994 to 2013, where responsibilities included Lead Marine Surveyor and Technical Authority for diving systems, overseeing the classification and certification of vessels supporting the offshore energy sector. Earlier career positions included roles at Lloyd's Register EMEA and Vickers Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd, focusing on marine technical authority and naval architecture. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with honors in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding from Newcastle University.
