Varun Patwardhan

Varun Patwardhan is a Senior Surveyor at DNV since August 2023, bringing extensive maritime experience from previous roles at Chevron, where tenure included positions as 1st Assistant Engineer, 2nd Assistant Engineer, and 3rd Assistant Engineer from September 2012 to July 2022, primarily focusing on machinery operation, maintenance, and safety management. Prior experience includes serving as 4th Engineer at Seaarland Shipping from November 2009 to August 2012. Varun holds a Master’s degree in Marine Engineering from the University of Southampton, completed in September 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Tolani Maritime Institute, awarded in 2009. Education was complemented by groundwork at Army Public School, where a first-class degree was obtained.
