Shankar Godavarti

Shankar Godavarti is an experienced professional with a diverse background in innovation, operations, and product management across various industries. Currently serving as a Principal Innovator at Donaldson since 2022, Shankar leads efforts to explore and assess disruptive markets for the company's technologies. Prior roles include Global Master Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma Trainer at PPG Industries, where responsibilities encompassed developing and deploying operational excellence programs globally. Additional experiences span senior management positions at Marvin, Sherwin-Williams, Valspar, and Boston Scientific, where Shankar managed teams, led product initiatives, and facilitated significant process optimizations and innovations. Shankar holds an Executive Program degree from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MBA in Corporate Ventures from the University of Minnesota, a Master's in Polymer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a degree from Rutgers University.
