Benny Luo

Benny Luo is the Founder and CEO of NextShark, a prominent media platform that serves the global Asian community, engaging over 20 million people weekly and playing a significant role in social movements like Stop Asian Hate. Luo has also been an Advisor at DoSomething.org since April 2016, focusing on motivating youth to drive social change through campaigns and grants. Previous experiences include producing for DiscoverMe, founding and overseeing NewMediaRockstars, and serving in various marketing roles across companies such as Centercode, Inc. and Apple Inc. Benny Luo holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Sciences from UC Irvine and Carlmont.
