Melissa Ren

Melissa Ren currently serves as the Associate Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations at Douglas College since April 2023, having previously held the position of Manager of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations. Prior to this role, Melissa Ren accumulated nearly a decade of experience at BC Children's Hospital Foundation, where positions included Direct Response Marketing Specialist and Coordinator. In these roles, Melissa Ren successfully developed and executed multi-channel fundraising campaigns, significantly increasing the monthly giving program by 25% and raising over $5M annually. Earlier career roles included supporting corporate donors and providing high-level administrative support to senior philanthropy leadership. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Health Science and a Certificate in Liberal Arts from Simon Fraser University, as well as a Diploma in Sport Science from Douglas College.
