Brent W. Jones

Brent W. Jones is the President of the Dow Jones News Fund, serving as chief executive officer and board chairman since August 2021. Previously, Brent held the position of Senior Vice President at Dow Jones, focused on enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. As Masthead Editor for The Wall Street Journal, Brent oversaw culture initiatives and partnered with Lehman College to improve newsroom diversity through the WSJ & Lehman Journo-Tech Program. Brent's extensive experience at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK included leading standards and ethics, directing quality-control assessments, and managing training and staffing initiatives. Brent holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Maryland.
