Katelyn O'Brien

Katelyn O'Brien, MPA, MS, currently serves as Executive Director of the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Katelyn O'Brien was Assistant Town Administrator and HR Director for the Town of Norfolk from December 2022 to January 2025, and previously served in a similar capacity for the Town of Dover, MA from January 2020 to December 2022. Katelyn O'Brien's expertise extends to economic development, having worked as Economic Development Coordinator for the Town of Westborough and as Community Information Specialist in Foxborough. Earlier career experience includes roles in human resources and editorial assistance, as well as research positions with The Eleanor Roosevelt Papers Project and the ACLU National Prisoners Project. Katelyn O'Brien earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Master of Science in Political Science from Suffolk University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from The George Washington University.
