Merel van 'T Hooft

Merel van 't Hooft is a freelance translator specializing in subtitle translation from English to Dutch for IYUNO Media Group since June 2017, contributing to various TV shows and movies for streaming platforms. Additionally, Merel serves as a final editor for Algemeen Dagblad at DPG Media since March 2021, and previously held the position of editor in chief at Studenten.com, leading a team of young writers. Other roles include final editor positions for MEIDEN magazine with A-press and Metro Holland, as well as copywriting for BlueCity. Merel's background includes a Master of Arts in Collaborative Theatre Making from Coventry University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Utrecht.
