Mark W. Dowley

Mark W. Dowley became Chairman of the Company in 1998. From 1972 to 1998, Dr. Dowley was President of LiCONiX. Prior to founding LiCONiX in 1972, Dr. Dowley was Director of Research at Coherent, Inc. From 1967 to 1968. Dr. Dowley was a research scientist at Spectra Physics, Inc. Prior to joining Spectra-Physics, Dr. Dowley was a researcher at IBM Research Laboratory. Dr. Dowley received his B.Sc. in Physics at University College Dublin, Ireland in 1956, his M.A. at the University of Toronto, Canada in 1957, and his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto, Canada in 1959.
