Michael Metzger

Michael Metzger is a seasoned investment banking professional with extensive experience in the media and technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Drake Star Partners since 2018, Metzger oversees a global team and focuses on media and tech investment banking. As Chairman and Board Member of the German American Business Association (GABASoCal) since 2006, Metzger strengthens transatlantic business relationships. Previous roles include significant positions at Houlihan Lokey, MESA Global, Covert & Co., New Century Capital Partners, and Pacific Ridge Capital Partners, where Metzger gained expertise in M&A advisory and financing services. Educational credentials include MBAs from UCLA Anderson School of Management and Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, along with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ulm University.
