Rick Young

Rick Young is an experienced professional in the drilling and oilfield services industry, currently serving as Director at Drilling Tools International, Inc. since 2017. Rick has held various leadership roles including VP of QHSE, EVP for the Permian Basin, and Executive VP of Wellbore Optimization. Prior to this, Rick served as Gulf Coast Manager at DTI from 2014 to 2024, and held business development positions at Sierra Hamilton and MJYoung Consulting. With a background at National Oilwell Varco and ReedHycalog, Rick has a long history of management and technical roles across multiple regions, including the Middle East and North Africa. Rick holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an Executive MBA from the National University of Singapore.
