Michael Moesgaard

Michael Moesgaard is an accomplished CIO with extensive experience in technology leadership across various industries. Currently serving as the CIO at DSB since July 2016, Michael oversees the digital strategies for Denmark's state railways. Prior to DSB, Michael held the CIO position at DONG Energy, a leading utility company known for its innovations in offshore wind, from January 2004 to June 2016. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Valtech, Areneum, A.T. Kearney, and Accenture, where Michael developed strategic IT practices and consulted for major firms. Michael holds a Cand. Polyt degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from the Technical University of Denmark and is pursuing further education at INSEAD and Copenhagen Business School.
