The mission of The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre is to prevent the harm and heal the trauma of rape and other forms of sexual violence. 

Our work to prevent sexual violence includes delivery of BodyRight, our sexual violence prevention programme for young people; policy work; research; and awareness raising campaigns.  

When sexual violence does occur, the DRCC is there to support those affected with a National 24-Hour Helpline (1800 77 8888), counselling and therapy, and accompaniment services. To ensure that the needs of survivors of sexual violence are met, we also provide training to professionals working in the area of trauma, and for critical service providers.

The Management Team at the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre oversees the strategic and operational functions required to fulfill the organization's mission. This team coordinates a range of services including public awareness campaigns, accompaniment for survivors, consent education projects, therapeutic services, professional training, human resources, and the operation of the National 24-Hour Helpline. Their collective efforts ensure that the centre operates efficiently and effectively to both prevent and respond to sexual violence.
