Samuel Kennedy

Samuel Kennedy has extensive experience in operational risk management, currently serving as the Head of Operational Risk at Dudley Building Society since July 2024. Prior roles include Senior Operational Risk Manager and Operational Risk Manager at Secure Trust Bank from April 2019 to July 2024. Samuel's career began at Paragon Banking Group PLC, where roles ranged from Quality and Third Party Assurance Manager to Quality Assurance, Control & Third Party Assurance Team Leader from April 2011 to April 2019. Earlier experience includes positions at the Department for Work and Pensions and Royal Bank of Scotland. Samuel holds a Talent Development Programme from Cranfield School of Management and a Certificate in Operational Risk from the Institute of Risk Management. Educated at Alderbrook School, Samuel achieved GCSE and A Level qualifications.
