Ben Kittrell

Ben Kittrell is an accomplished Project Manager at Duke Energy Corporation, where responsibilities include capital project management since May 2008. Kittrell has held various roles within the company, including Regional Lean Leader Carolinas West and Lead Engineer, focusing on integrating Lean concepts and the Toyota Production System into power generation management systems. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Engineer, overseeing maintenance and procedures for a 900MW supercritical coal-fired unit project, and as Station Equipment Expert for turbine operations. Prior to Duke Energy, Kittrell worked as a Turbine Field Engineer at Tennessee Valley Authority from October 1999 to May 2008. Kittrell earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University between 1983 and 1987.
