Ben Zhang

Ben Zhang is an accomplished analytics leader with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Owner and Principal Consultant at Synergy Analytics Partners LLC, Ben focuses on enhancing data analytics effectiveness for senior leaders in the industry. In addition, Ben holds the position of Vice President of Enterprise Data Analytics at Duke Energy Corporation, where responsibilities include leading the data science organization and co-leading digital transformation initiatives. Ben's previous roles at Duke Energy include General Manager of Market Solutions Analytics and Vice President of Commercial Analytics, emphasizing capabilities in data science, analytics, and risk management. Ben also contributes to academia and professional organizations through advisory board memberships at UNCC. With a Ph.D. in Financial Economics and Econometrics from Duke University and a Master’s degree in Investment Management from Dongbei University of Finance & Economics, Ben combines deep analytical expertise with strategic insight to drive business impact.
