Bella Naspinski is an accomplished opinion columnist for Duke Chronicle since September 2023 and has significant experience in advocacy and public policy. As a public relations and policy intern with Our Turn, Bella contributed to the advancement of tuition equity legislation in North Carolina, resulting in the introduction of three bills. Bella also founded the South Mecklenburg High School chapter of the National Organization for Women, leading discussions on women's rights and organizing a team of officers. In addition, Bella served as a voter registration fellow with TurnUp Activism, focusing on youth engagement in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area, and produced a substantial research paper on the impacts of Roe v. Wade’s overturn with Pioneer Academics. Bella's educational background includes attendance at Duke University and South Mecklenburg High School.
