Hao-Lun Hsu

Hao-Lun Hsu is a current PhD student at Duke University, specializing in Computer Science with a focus on Robust Reinforcement Learning in robotics and neuromodulation. Since August 2022, Hao-Lun has held the positions of Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses in Algorithmic Game Theory and Data Science. Previous roles include an Autonomous Ultrasound AI Research Intern at Philips, where reinforcement learning techniques were applied for ultrasound guidance, and mentoring high school and undergraduate students in machine learning at various organizations. With a strong academic background encompassing multiple master's degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Hao-Lun has also contributed to notable projects as a research intern in several institutions, including Emory University and Curai Health.
