Tamara James

Tamara James is an experienced Ergonomic Consultant with extensive expertise in providing ergonomics consultation services across various manufacturing and service industries since February 1993. In addition to founding Tamara James Consulting, Tamara holds the position of Director at Duke University, where responsibilities include hazard evaluation and training for over thirty thousand workers across multiple sectors, coordination of ergonomic activities, and development of policies and training programs. Previous roles include Human Factors Engineering Consultant at Monterey Technologies, Human Factors Specialist at Science Applications International, and Industrial Engineer at MCI Telecommunications, among others. Tamara's educational background includes a graduate certificate in Health Policy and two master's degrees, one in Human Factors Engineering and the other from Duke University.
