Ryan Maley

Ryan Maley is the Director at Dunham Foundation. Ryan has a long history of working in various companies focused on social innovation, entrepreneurship, and enterprise. Ryan has also served on the State of Illinois Task force for Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Enterprise. In this role, they made recommendations on how to strengthen the capacity of Illinois to work cooperatively to create, scale, and sustain innovative social programs and build the capacity of non-profit organizations.

Maley's most recent position before joining Dunham Foundation was as the Director of Strategic Marketing at ZigBee Alliance. In this role, they were responsible for securing stakeholder buy-in, working with Harvard Kennedy School Social Impact Bond Lab, and providing funding to allow Illinois to become the third state in the nation to adopt this cutting edge social good financing tool.

Before their time at ZigBee Alliance, Maley worked at Semplar Science as well as Stratence Partners. Ryan also has experience working in education, specifically as an Instructional Aide at the University of Michigan - School of Information. In this role, they worked with students to help them succeed in their studies.

Maley's experience in both the private and public sector make him uniquely suited to their current role at Dunham Foundation. Ryan is able to use their skills and experience to help the foundation secure funding for innovative projects that will have a positive impact on the community.

Ryan Maley has a Master of Arts from the University of Michigan - School of Information, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a BSc from Excelsior College. Ryan also has certifications from Coursera in Pricing Strategy Optimization, Data Science Specialization, and Digital Marketing Specialization (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), as well as a certification in Practical Machine Learning from Johns Hopkins University. In addition, Ryan has a certification from Google in AdWords Search Certification and is a Raise Your AQ Certified Partner in Answer Intelligence (AQ).
