Tara McDermott

Tara McDermott is a marketing communication specialist with extensive experience in the field, currently serving at Dupaco Community Credit Union since January 2018. In this role, Tara oversees the marketing and design of all communication for the credit union, having also held the titles of advertising specialist and creative architect. Previously, McDermott worked at McGraw-Hill Higher Education from April 1999 to January 2018 as a designer, focusing on the creation and coordination of design for higher education materials in science, engineering, and math. Additional experience includes serving as an account assistant at McCullough Creative Group and as a designer at Brewster Wallcovering. Tara holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications, Business, Psychology, and Communications from the University of Iowa.
