Emiel Rietvelt

Emiel Rietvelt is an accomplished product and project manager with extensive experience in the performing arts and events sector. Currently serving as Productieleider at the Dutch National Opera & Ballet since January 2022, Emiel previously held positions as Project Manager at Biobased Creations and Company New Heroes, where Emiel managed prominent projects such as "The Exploded View" at Dutch Design Week 2021 and "We Light Riyadh" for Riyadh Art 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Hoofd Productie for ITs Festival Amsterdam and Stage Manager for Yamato, Drummers of Japan, overseeing European, UK, and Russian tours. Emiel's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Design & Technology from Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and advanced language studies in French at the International Language School of Canada.
