Daniel Schumann is currently an advisor at Dynam.AI. Daniel has over ten years of experience in management and product development in the medical device industry.
Schumann started their career at Invetech Pty Ltd in 2009 as Vice President and General Manager of USA operations. In this role, they were responsible for the budget and P&L of the USA operations, as well as staffing, evaluating, and setting compensation for the US operations and engineering staff of 15. Daniel also led the USA Quality team to ensure compliance with FDA QSR and ISO 9001 & 13485.
In 2012, Schumann left Invetech to join CareFusion as Director of Operational Initiatives. In this role, they led the first phase of end-to-end transformation of the Respiratory Technologies division’s business operations, to unify systems and processes that had not been integrated after major acquisitions. Daniel also led division-wide changes affecting Order-to-Cash, Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing, Distribution, Customer Service, Technical Support, Factory Repair, Field Service, and FDA-related Complaint Handling.
CareFusion was acquired by Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) in 2015, and Schumann left the company soon after. Daniel joined Dynam.AI as an advisor in 2016.
Daniel Schumann received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University. Daniel then went on to earn an M.B.A. in Marketing from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Finally, they earned a M.E.M. in Manufacturing Management from Northwestern University - McCormick School of Engineering.
