Lauren Withey

Lauren Withey is a staff scientist at EARTHJUSTICE. Lauren has dedicated their career to environmental justice and has experience working in both the public and private sector. Lauren received their PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, College of Natural Resources in 2019. Prior to their current position, they worked as a management associate at the World Resources Institute and as a volunteer consultant at TechnoServe. Lauren began their career as a geography assistant at the State of Maine and later interned at the National Environmental Trust.

Dr. Lauren Withey is an Environmental Science PhD from UC Berkeley. Lauren also holds a BA in Government and Legal Studies, Environmental Studies, and Economics from Bowdoin College.
