Michelle Mabson, MPH, MSc, serves as a Senior Staff Scientist at Earthjustice since July 2017, focusing on the Healthy Communities Program. Prior to this role, Michelle co-founded and held the position of Chief Advocacy Officer at Black Millennials 4 Flint from February 2016 to September 2023. Michelle's experience also includes an ORISE Fellowship at the US EPA's Office of Children's Health Protection and various research roles at the University of Michigan and other organizations. Key focus areas encompass children's environmental health, regulatory development, human health risk assessment, cancer epidemiology, developmental and reproductive toxicology, and molecular biology. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health degree at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Michelle holds dual Master's degrees in Natural Resources and Environment and Public Health from the University of Michigan, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Anthropology from Howard University.
