Rebecca Simon

Rebecca Simon serves as an Assistant Professor of Voice, Speech, and Acting at East Carolina University since August 2022. With extensive experience in the performing arts, Rebecca has been an Actor, Director, and Dialect Coach at Forestburgh Playhouse since June 2014 and operates Simon Voice Services, specializing in voice, text, and dialect coaching for regional and educational theatres since September 2009. Additionally, Rebecca held the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor of Theatre at Rider University from September 2009 to May 2022 and worked as an Instructor/Graduate Assistant at Florida Atlantic University from August 2006 to July 2009, where significant contributions included developing a two-year sequence in Musical Theatre Performance. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University at Buffalo.
