Steven Grandy

Steven Grandy currently works in University Communications at East Carolina University since October 2023. Previously, Steven served as the Director of Media Relations at Western Carolina University from July 2018 to October 2023, overseeing media interactions for several sports teams and managing a team of student workers. Additional experience includes roles at the University of South Carolina Upstate as Associate Athletic Communications Director, Mars Hill University as Assistant Sports Information Director, and various positions with professional sports organizations, such as the Asheville Tourists and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Wingate University, where early career roles included editorial positions for student publications.
