Priscilla has had 30+ years’ experience of working in and with the FE and skills sector. Her 20 year career in Further Education, started in teaching finance for business studies and developed into senior curriculum and cross college management roles in large colleges. Her later freelance work drew on her teaching, professional and management qualifications as well as her experiences in the sector. These experiences encompassed the full range of levels from entry to postgraduate, and across adult and community, work based, and general further education.
Priscilla’s freelance work included working with individual sector organisations as well as a number of national bodies and agencies including The Education and Training Foundation and its predecessor bodies LSIS and CEL, AoC and IfL. This work encompassed interim management, developing accredited and bespoke sector related leadership and management development programmes, supporting e-learning projects, programmes and workshops both face to face and online, leadership Skills for Governance, quality improvement and preparation for HE and FE inspection regimes and finance for non-financial managers.
Priscilla has also been an Ofsted Inspector, and in addition to her career in further education, she has had periods working for private, public sector and professional organisations using her accountancy and company secretarial experience and qualifications.
