Hani Almohanna

Hani Almohanna, MD, Ph.D., MSc, currently serves as the Chairperson for the Research, Development, and Innovation Committee at Eastern Health Cluster, where significant advancements in preventive health strategies have been achieved, leading to a notable reduction in preventable health issues. Additionally, Hani serves as the Human Research Protection Program Institutional Official at King Fahad Specialist Hospital Dammam, overseeing the rights and protections of research participants, and has held various leadership roles in research, including Associate Executive Director of the Research Center, Director of Biorepository and Registry Administration, and Head of the Cancer Registry Unit. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, contributing expertise in cancer epidemiology and public health practice. Hani's educational background encompasses a Doctor of Philosophy in Cancer Pathology and Prevention, a Doctor of Medicine, a Master of Science in Cancer Prevention and Epidemiology, and diplomas in Healthcare Management and Public Health Essentials.
