Rodel Garcia

Rodel Garcia is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in fund transfer and payment channels management. Currently serving as the Head of Fund Transfer at East West Banking Corporation since January 2021, Rodel previously held various leadership roles at UnionBank of the Philippines from March 2005 to January 2021, including Unit Head of Payment Channel Management, where responsibilities included overseeing payments teams and implementing AML policies. Rodel's background includes significant contributions to process improvement, regulatory compliance, and client onboarding, highlighted by a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and a key role in achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification for the bank. Rodel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Arellano University.
