Yong Chen

Yong Chen is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electrical engineering, currently serving as Tech Lead/Manager of Electrical Engineering at Eaton (TrippLite) since March 2012. Yong Chen leads the development of a variety of electronic projects, including UPS systems, lithium-ion battery packs, server rack power architectures, and KVM switch products. Prior experience includes a role as Electrical Engineer III at Schlumberger, focusing on designing downhole converters and brushless DC motor drives, as well as a research assistant position at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where various power converter prototypes were developed. Yong Chen holds both a Master's and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
