Azizah Ahmad

Azizah Ahmad, Esq. is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in advocacy and community engagement, particularly within Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney and Clinical Supervisor at East Bay Community Law Center since March 2024, Azizah teaches and mentors law students while representing clients in health and public benefits appeals. Previous roles include serving as the Policy & Community Advocacy Manager at the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, where advocacy focused on health equity, and as a Graduate Legal Associate at the California Department of Justice, analyzing public policy issues. Azizah's foundation in immigration law was established as an Immigration Fellow at API Legal Outreach and solidified through international experience with UNHCR in Malaysia. Academic credentials include a JD from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis.
