Edward Poole

Edward Poole is a seasoned credit risk professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently, Edward serves as the Head of Credit Risk for the UK and Ireland at Ebury since November 2019, previously holding the position of Credit Risk Manager. Prior to Ebury, Edward worked as a Credit Underwriter at Funding Circle UK, where responsibilities included assessing unsecured SME loan applications, mentoring junior staff, and leading the design of operational processes. Edward's earlier roles included credit risk analysis at Paysafe Group, tax associate duties at Deloitte UK, and credit risk analyst positions at Nationwide Building Society, reflecting a solid foundation in both credit and operational risk management. Edward holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Swansea University and is a member of ICAEW.
