Stephen O'Dwyer

Stephen O'Dwyer is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the insurance sector. Currently serving as Group Finance Director at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group since August 2019, Stephen previously held the position of Finance Director at British Gas Insurance from February 2014 to August 2019. Prior to that, Stephen was Head of Finance at Covea Insurance from September 2005 to January 2014 and also served as Head of Finance and MI at Zurich Financial Services from May 1997 to August 2005. Stephen holds a BSc (2(i) Hons) in Geography from the University of Bristol, where education was completed from 1988 to 2001, and earlier attended Belmont Abbey School in Hereford from 1982 to 1987.
