Carl Asplund

Carl Asplund is an experienced image sensor specialist currently employed at Eclipse Optics since October 2020. Previously, Carl served as a senior optronics developer at Tobii AB from September 2017 to August 2020, focusing on the evaluation and specification of CMOS image sensors for eye-tracking products. Carl's earlier roles include development engineer positions at IRnova from 2007 to September 2017, where responsibilities included modelling and designing epitaxial structures for infrared detectors, and at Acreo AB from 2003 to 2007, contributing to similar projects. Carl holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
